Description

This project was initiated by a team of expert hoteliers with extensive experience around the globe and, along with the hotel component, was meant to bring an international flavor and create the quintessential all-season resort in Niseko.

The truly ultra-modern design, with slick finish, introduced a fresh architectural style to Niseko’s landscape, literally and figuratively. The experience was enhanced by the surrounding silver birch forest and natural creek and the bath tub on the top floor’s terrace.

Above & Beyond Resort project was Franck Giral’s first project in Niseko.

The Global Financial Crisis of 2008 put an end to this project that was meant at the time to become Niseko’s new benchmark for international developments.
