This lovely family chalet, ‘Silver Dream’, is nested in the outskirts of Hirafu village high up in the quiet St Moritz neighborhood, surrounded by silver birch forest, just 10 minutes by foot away from the ski hills.

Thanks to its elevated floors, Silver Dream boasts incredible, unobstructed views of Mt Yotei from most of the bedrooms and the living/ dining/ living open area, which are fully enjoyable from the large deck, as well as views of Hirafu ski hills. Its modern design with its cedar cladding facades bends into the natural environment.

With its bunk room and its Japanese modern interiors made of natural oak timber flooring, it is a perfect destination for family trips.

The clients are a family who wanted to have a vacation home in Niseko where they could stay every year.

In order to protect their view of Mt Yotei, they bought two plots in the St Moritz area, built on the upper plot and created a reclusive landscaping with a deck on the lower plot.

We managed this project from initiation to handover to the property manager.
