Description

Arukuza-zaka Street is the largest building development in Niseko’s Hirafu area and boasts a dozen buildings centered around a commercial pedestrian street and several public plazas. Developed by a Hong-Kong developer, it is expected to become Hirafu’s lively downtown open year-round.

The project comprises a 200+ place underground car park, an international brand hotel, anchor tenants and a commercial street that will create the cozy outdoor environment that Hirafu village crucially needs.

Aruku-zaka Street is the only project in Hirafu area that requires a large-scale retail development approval.

Franck Giral was the on-ground project manager until his departure from H2 Group (formally Hokkaido Tracks) in July 2020.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

  • “This mixed-use, multi-phased development project, being one of the largest in Niseko was challenging in many ways. Franck’s involvement working alongside our own team, included managing the design, working with the team to obtain the necessary approvals, review and assist with costing studies as well as representing us in meetings with local authorities.”

    Christopher Liu
Head of Development, Metropoly Holdings Limited
  • “Franck’s local knowledge of both building and land development regulations proved critical in negotiating with local authorities in resolving several issues and hurdles which otherwise would have been detrimental to our project. I would recommend Franck to manage large mixed-used projects in Niseko.”
