The Orchards land development is a chalet community situated in the farmland area of Kabayama, only 6 minutes away from Hirafu. The flat land provides each property unobstructed views of Mt Yotei on one side and of Grand Hirafu ski hills on the other side.

All homes in this development are designed with a North American chalet architectural style with cross gable roofs, natural cedar cladding and cultured stone exterior walls, as well as fully glazed V-shape bays on each side of the homes.

Franck Giral led the project management effort of this building development before his resignation from Nisade. During the first year of this development, he and the other team member managed to build 8 buildings, including 4 custom homes, 3 off-plan homes and the gate house, from 190 to 580 m². Based on simple basic designs, they drew the off-plan homes’ sales plans and options.

Franck was also in charge of the design the gate house at the entrance of the estate.
